Born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island, Sam developed an early appreciation for the region’s distinctive architecture, historic homes, and traditions of fine craftsmanship. Growing up among the historic properties and estates of Newport fostered a lasting interest in the preservation and stewardship of Rhode Island’s architectural heritage.
Sam has built his career around the thoughtful restoration, renovation, and construction of distinguished residential properties throughout Rhode Island. Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to work on some of Rhode Island’s most notable and architecturally significant properties, developing a deep understanding of the care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
His work encompasses historic rehabilitation, structural restoration, complex renovations, and custom new construction, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, proportion, and enduring quality. His approach is rooted in a respect for the original character of a property while incorporating the structural integrity, performance, and conveniences expected of a modern residence.
